Commencement Begins Again

June 13, 2012

Morning found me weeping on the floor

Oh, how

Much I feel as

My Nate-Nate rises to walk, and say

Yes to the world

Andy walks with Helen, then off to greet Tiki

Nate sleeps still with friends

Death

Informs my watery lungs

And yet God (or whatever you call Great Source)

Reveals

Eternal Love

Oneness and deep humble gratitude

Nate has helped teach me to love

Every fluxing One:  so Thank You Nate

What a beautiful tribute to your son, and these incredible moments of transition and achievement.

Oh how well I know this feeling. Deep breath.

We raise them up to let them go.

And bittersweet does not begin to describe it.

My heart is with you in celebration and in nurturing the next phase of life for yourself.

Be well, both of you.

Lucky boys; lucky parents. The best thing is that none of you seem to take it all for granted, which means that you’ve taught your sons well. Savor the poignance, and contratulations to you all.
